Depends.

I'm artistic in the way that I can draw in a style nobody else other than Jhonen Vasquez seems to know how. I strive to be a cartoonist who can make an honest living by drawing things that may never be. Virtually artistic as I am; experimenting on different inks and pens, finding the tools of the trade, working out my niche through whatever means necessary. ANYTHING.

I try to be verbally artistic. I can write a story that can give anybody chills and make you feel like you're in a movie. Not to brag or anything, but my friends describe me as a good writer. I want to be good, make witty examinations, etc.

Influencially artistic. As weird as it sounds, I've influenced people to draw again. People I've met stop drawing or writing, but I come up with a great idea and their inspired to draw again.

I don't wanna brag on any of this. It's just what people say of me.

I believe that to call myself artistic, when there are so many better, more original artists out there, would be rather arrogant. I enjoy doing art, been doing it since I could hold a pencil, yet I still cannot correctly sketch the human figure. I'm pathetic...how could I ever hope to be a real artist...

As to other forms of art, I'm pretty pathetic. I have written several poems which my parents claim are good and, at least, I am good at written descriptions.

So perhaps I am not so artistic as trying desperately to be artistic.

I suppose I probably am...I don't create anything myself at all - I've no real interest in the practical side of it, personally - but I have a degree in art history and a huge interest in it. Interesting question, by the way.

Go to "rate my drawings.com" my artist name is "strange1970" (It's hard using a "mouse" to draw on the computer-I'm a pencil artist) -anyways, I don't rate myself, I don't "brag" about my drawing skills, YOU decide.
