One can be loyal and dependent or disloyal and dependent.
One can be independent, interdependent combined with loyalty and disloyalty.

There isn't one. Loyalty is one thing and dependency is another. In co-dependent relationships, needy couples tend to confuse the two, but really, one has nothing to do with the other.

Loyalty empowers
Dependency disempowers
