Like I said I am interested but how would I start? Is there any books or websites I can go to for more information? I always pretend that I am famous and use a strobe light to look like a camera, oh and I always pretend to sign autographs too. Oh yeah one more thing i am thirteen year old male.

I like the idea that you want to be an actor when you are older, it shows some sense, whereas most teens want to act right now and they have no experience or training.
1. Be in all the drama activities at school, all the plays and classses
2. Get your parents' support for your being an actor.
3. Get a mentor,
4. tale professional acting classes
5. Be in more plays like in the community.
6. Learn how to audition and interview.
7. Make a resume and get a headshot
8. Apply for representation by agents.
There ya go. How to be an actor. By the way I am a mentor, I work for free and I can help you with every step. Click on my name and read my profile and write me at my aol address for more info.

You have a lot of work to do, first. Also your focus needs to be on becoming an actor, not becoming famous; if you focus solely on fame you won't make it. Start by researching acting groups/troups in your area and call local colleges and universities to see what sort of drama programs they offer. You can buy books, of course, but your best bet is to find a theater group and get in that way. You will start doing extra work, working in the background and work your way up to larger roles eventually.
