I really want to persue acting as a career, but my mom is nervous about it. She thinks I should get a minor in theatre while I would like to major in it, preferably in a BFA program. But now I'm thinking, can you become an actor with only a minor in theatre?

i don't believe if you leave this world unhappy (you haven't achieved what you always wanted) you can still be happy elsewhere - it doesn't make sense, if you were unhappy there, how will you all of a sudden be happy up there, doesn't make sense at all. what are your thoughts. thanx

Some people are really dumb, but at the same time really happy. They just don't care about the deeper things in life. They have a lot of fun, care about their family, and so forth. The educated person, on the other hand, understands so much. Maybe too much for his own good. Which is better? Blissful ignorance or education?

shattered and broken i reach out for help
