I am writing an essay about the colony Maryland. I am only allowed to use .edu .gov and .org websites sooo no .com websites. Any info is great please give me your knowledge and some good links for the history I need info like:

 Give history of colony (founder, types of people that moved there, what was the purpose of the colony, what does the colony become and an interesting story.
 What colony did? (Faming) (What does it produce)(trading)
 Tell the reader about the colony (weather, location, religion, government laws

A good place to go would be to the library. Look up Maryland in an encyclopedia and you'll find all the answers to your questions. You might be able to find some websites run by Maryland's state government to answer some of the other ones. It'll end in .gov

I really don't know anything about Maryland but I would say go to a local library and spend a few hours there. You can find anything about American history in a library.
