What gun control laws did Great Britain have when the American colonies revolted? It seems to me that if the United States put the right to keep and bear arms in its constitution, it must have been from a bad British experience. Was it just because they wanted civilians to revolt against the government, or was there a gun control law Britain had they felt was unreasonable?

What was the first gun control law in the US? Was it a state, federal, local, county, or what law? When was it passed? What did it regulate?

Anyone remember a book about a witch that lived on a glass mountain?
I read it back in the late seventies early eighties and loved it, would like to read it to my neice!
I think the witch was 'rescued' by one (maybe two) small girls that climbed up the mountain to see her.
I think the cover illustration showed the witch atop the mountain on a rocking chair.

Assume god created this world, if he did...he formed the parameters of this world...undoubtedly. So If god created this world and the parameters that govern it...wouldn't human life have to follow those parameters? Understanding the principals of our world, human life must take the course of evolution...or he would not be suited for life on this planet...without building a body that was suited to this world specifically, we would not survive.

So if god had created this world, would he not understand that life forms have to evolve in order to develop the ability to cope with their world?

Would it not have been a logical path to take? To create a seed of one organism and let it evolve? If there was no evolution, which does occur in the world that god specifically designed, how would man have survived.

We have to be designed within the parameters of the world, or we would not exist within it.

I know people with money who are not happy because money is a double edge sword, if you use it in a wrong way, it can bring more harm than good. I know people who have power but they are not happy because with power come responsibility and responsibility meant headache. I know beautiful people who are not happy because others will use them and they won't know who like them for themselves. So I concluded that if things always go your way, always happened the way you want it to happen then you will be happy, and that is being lucky.

I have learn guitar for like 8 months. I can pretty much play most of the chords now. Except a little difficulty on bar code. I cant play the guitar just by listening the rythm of the song.

Now i have a problem to advance myself to the next level, such as guitar solo part/finger picking, songs like dust in the wind and greensleeves still seems so hard for me on my acoustic guitar.

What i can do is just strumming, also my strumming pattern is not very creative, kind of using same pattern most of the time.

Could that because i dont read music and that is the reason why i cant learn as fast as others, do you think learn guitar blindly is fine, by just remember the chords? What should i do to adjust myself.

I really hope someday i can play canon in D, tears in heaven, stairway to heaven, and hotel california with my acoustic guitar.

Please advice, your advice will be appreciated !!

All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves?
