Underneath this cold earth
lays a mountain laden with truth
It breaks away
piece by piece
into the worldly craters abyss
It spreads near and far away
with shattered remnants
of earth and clay
twisted souls climb its side
trying to find out when they died
and as we watch
from the land above
mourning for forgotten love
we notice that we are not alone
but standing surrounded
and by friends and by home
and as that mountain punches through
twisting and tumbling towards me and you
a glimpse of light, dappled and faded
warms our two hearts that are weary and jaded
and together we run
as far and as fast
as anyone would to be free at last

Just wrote this online...

"Another's Shoe's"

Dusk to light,
Something lost,
in the night,
Amisdst the purpose,
Left long ago,
Cradled close,
Within a noose.

A bow like a rose,
Shifted, shelved,
Halved in twos.
Glimpse of glitter,
Never knowing whose,
Twisted leather,
You slip into.

Twitching, itching,
Pretense of flight,
Dreams tied tight,
Laces laced,
Unknown pace,
Stretching prayers,
Temptation's quiet.

Hunger fills,
Empty souls,
Sized and prized,
Broken gifts,
You've never lost,
Forced to fit,
Mother's knot's,

It is a book of fictions in English. If the book is found publishable, I would like the publisher to bear the expences. Is there any you know of?

Since Jean Paul Sartre says that:
"Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does."

If a person's eyes shine so brightly, not the color or irises, just a bright shining light, and their eyes smile, what does that say about a person's soul?

Please check out my writing by using the link below.
Let me know what you like or dislike about the way I write and what I have posted thus far.
Please do not list all the ways my writing is technically incorrect.
I know all of this already, and I like it.

Thank you!

... lots of intelligent people in SES (senior executive service) level of australian public service who would be glad to assist.
It's not that appropriate management theories don't exist, it's that the management theories themselves don't get a proper run.

I can only think there must be cabals of people everyone else is scared shitless of, like a mafia, who terrorise the workplace.

I know, I know, it's a totally different medium. AND when they make a book into a movie, the book is always better. Still, the question remains. I'll give you a few of mine, just to get you started. Maybe I'll watch a few of yours. 5-10 please; any more than that & I'll be forced to think you watch more than you write (lol).
Thanks all!

I dont think I agree that they are. The common response to this is that "morals vary from society to society".

But is that so? Are not the prisons full? Also if morality is determined by societies how could we ever say a society has morally improved, if the standard is set by that society?

Finally, wouldnt that mean people like Martin Luther King Jr, who advocated social change, would by defintion of that society be evil because they opposed the societies moral laws?

Sorry I know its 3-fold but 10 points to the best answer...

I have wanted to be a writer since I can remember. It's just always been a passion of mine. Except, lately, I've been having trouble. I have so many ideas but when I try to get the ideas from my head onto paper, I freeze up or something. Can someone help me try to stop this so I can write and actually complete a story?

Does anyone know a specific body of artwork by Jackson Pollock which has engaged in American ideas and values?

If so, how?

Also, does any of his work relate to any American philosophies?
Thanks a lot!

Soft, Soothing, Memmories,
Hard, Callous, Reminders,
Whisper Within.

Who holds your heart,
Who holds your whispers,
Trusted with your soul,
All that you know.

Torn, broken, bleeding,
Trusting, Believing, Healing,
Whisper Within.

Dawn sets softly on the moon's broken heart,
As your light sets you apart,
Reflections of yourself,
Embraced by your art.

Caressed by whispers within.

we are a generation of fast-fooders, where drive thrus take too long and when you're already going over the speed limit, people are passing you left and right. We never have time to do the things we want or enjoy. We don't make time for those that need us. We don't have a minute to "catch our breath". Does anyone even remember what a rose smells like?

2007-09-26 16:21:45 · 7 answers · asked by Anonymous in Philosophy

While away they want you close
When you're close they are just gone.

All roses paths they make for you
but when you arrive all spikes slash you.

They are divine, gift from the stars
wild boars they turn as cast you are.

They lure all hearts of loving souls
Distant they are when time turns hard

Devoted women always are
to anyone that catches our heart

We always think they are the same
But life strikes back, as this fake is.

Do you like it?! What do you think about the topic?!
