There is absolutely nothing with the way your writing is 'technically incorrect'. You are the author, and when it comes to poems, every way is correct. Though some may not like it, some might love it. It's YOUR work, it's YOUR style. Sure there's structured poems and types of poems, but there's also abstract and free verse, etc. You are your own worst critic. Now, enough lecturing.

Your writing is good, I actually quite enjoy a different style, it's refreshing from what I'm used to seeing / hearing. I applaud you for being so defiant and brave about your work.

Seems to me all of these are poems. Even the story at the end. I like them. They are very honest and that often makes a good poem. I also like how you've gotten into the characters' heads and expressed things from their points of view. Very good. Keep up the good work.

Angela, I like your style of writing. While the first poem doesn't seem to be categorized such, it is well written, nevertheless.

Your creativity and imagination go hand-in-hand and works well with your writing juices. Please keep at it.

The only flaw I saw, grammatically, is the phrase, "off of." Not bad, kiddo!
