I am inching towards a path of self-realization and detachment.

A lot. I moved to Virginia from Florida about 2 months ago. I had been working at the public library down there, but it wasn't really the direction I wanted to go in. So about a month and a half ago I started a job as a writer for a well-known non-profit organization that tries to change public policy. Its a great job. It is entertaining, the people I work with are cool, and I am happy to have a job working to make a difference (even a small one). I live in the historic district of my city and can walk everywhere I need to go (which is good cuz I don't want a car). My rent is pretty cheap, especially considering I live downtown. I have the GRE (which I think is a load of BS) coming up in two weeks, and I am hoping to start working on a Master's degree in Applied Ethics in January. I want to publish a photography book (I have close to 3,000 photos from south and southeast asia) but have no real clue how to go about it. If you know, please tell me! And I turn 24 in October (after 21, though, birthdays are pointless.)

As always -- in the eye of a hurricane
have an elderly father recently back from Rehab to look out after (with the help of in-home nursing) --
Am working with a committee managing the Shrine Circus' arrival in our town within five weeks from now --
Laying out logistics and shoot menus for two weddings this coming week ( I am a pro photographer) --
And, in the smack middle of aligning a new computer networking set-up for my photo business that will increase my digital photo storage and retrieval by some 500 % --
So, not much at the moment --- it will get really busy for me within about a month from now --- my seasonal Christmas business will hit at about the time the Circus is in town !! I will be a busy guy then !!

This is probably one of the biggest times of my life. I have just entered high school and I seem to have come to a decision with life it self. The only change in high school is that I just have to work a lot harder than middle school. I'm pretty confident I will do well. Also I have been committing to martial arts. With martial arts I have been going into philosophy. My views of life, reason, death are developing and I am extremely satisfied with how I am living. Everything is ship-shape.
