then why are writers like milan kundera or may be any writers read or appreciated .They have actually mocked at their wifes or relatives and made books out of it ... someone who loves them is being mocked at ....???

In general must be avoided, it is bad and you are deriving fun at another person's expense.

1. But there are exceptions, it is call roasting:
The person is a guest of honer, and is presented an award at a dinner where various member present will recall funny moment in that person life and all present will reminiscent over it including the person being roasted. It is a typical American sense of hummer but it is catching on, rapidly all over the world.

2. Mockery is a best form of flattery. Example, are people singing copy write songs of other artist, giving readings of prose and poetry.

A little goes a long way. Good humored teasing is alright if the person your teasing knows it is not meant in a hurtful way, and they get to tease you back. But some times teasing crosses that line of abuse. If you are teasing some one to make yourself feel better, or the person is very hurt by what you say, it is wrong. It is to easy for us to point out others faults. I can see nothing constructive about hurting some ones feelings in the name of self improvement.
