Research and resources for a period piece photo shoot.?

I'm photographing a b&w, sepia photo shoot with a model that's going to have a 1930's-40's Latina 'look' to it. Where can I find material that shows me clothing styles, make-up, hairstyles, accessories of the era, and where can I get items I might need for cheap. It seems eBay has a lot of interesting stuff.

A web search (how original is that?) found there are 182,000 references to 1030's-40's fashions.
