Well, if you want people to talk to, you should go to a nearby high school and talk to their art teachers. I am sure they are very knowledgeable. Or you can wait till high school next year and talk to an art teacher. Best of luck. Ebay works too. Just set a price and sell sell sell!

Well, the great thing about being a visual artist is that you really set your own prices. I've sold pieces for as little as 10 bucks, as much as 300 bucks.

I suggest that you build a "clientelle" (a bunch of people who will buy art from you regularly) but offering your work at reasonable prices, between 10 and 20 dollars a piece.

That way, if you gain a reputation for doing good work for reasonable prices, you'll be the first on people's minds when they want to commission something special. Good luck:)

I actually made up a bunch of prints of some of my work and brought it to a music festival near me. My friend and I were just selling them out of the back of my car in the parking lot...It was great, because I got a ton of feedback, and got to judge how much people like my stuff.

Just get it out there. The more business you do, the more you can charge. There's always something for everyone.

JB,

For one thing get yourself a website. Have your parents help you because you are young . There are other children out there that have safe and private web sites. There are free sites out there such as bravehost.com or freewebs.com. Also see if your parents will help you sell on Ebay or another site that sells art and other things. Please, please make sure that an adult helps you and never leave any pertinent information about your age, where you live etc. Be safe. I wish you the best.
