My Sister's Keeper or Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
The Theif Lord
A Seperate Peace by John Knowles
But I really reccommend My Sister's Keeper. Although its might be long. If your a fast reader you might be able to read it in a week. I think its about 350 some pages.

Go to a used book store and see if they have a copy of TEMPLE by Matthew Reilly. Even a mediocre reader can read this book in less than a week and it is a very good, enjoyable read. After you get done reading it and you finish your book report, you will probably want to read everything else this author has written. In my humble opinion, Mr. Reilly is the greatest thriller writer on the planet today and George Clooney the actor agrees.

Dragonflight by Anne McCaffrey
Any of the shorter books from the Dragonrider series by Anne McCaffrey could easily be read in a week, but Dragonflight is the best place to start as it is the first one. The genre is sci-fi/fantasy, in case you're wondering.

I would suggest you read one of the following:
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
The Master of Ballantrae by Robert Louis Stevenson
Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
The Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane
The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allan Poe
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Other Stories by Washington Irving
If you're a more advanced reader (and can get larger tomes read in a week), I'd suggest:
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
David Copperfield by Charles Dickens
Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

Try Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Most people read it for the first time at about your age. It is a very good book.
