In the search for love
I became hated
In the search of happiness
I found sadness
In the search of life
Death came so close
When I realized it
It was late
When I thought about it
I was scared
Fear cripples the soul
The dices were against me
Defeated indeed
Hide, is what thy shall do
Blinded was I
Thinking that thorns had roses
The truth is that
The rose had thorns

What's so wrong about not being in a sexual relationship?

I think its sad how most men cant be in a relationship without being sexually involved. i"m sorry but i'm just not that type of girl to give myself away like that. I dont understand. I feel like i"m going to be single for ever if that's the case. I'm 20 years old and i am losing hope in men. Ridiculous. I'm just tired of wasting my time on idiots.

In "The Hobbit," Bilbo wins the riddle contest against Gollum by asking "What have I got in my pocket?"

In "The Dark Tower," Eddie Dean wins the riddle contest against Blaine the Mono by telling irrational and terrible jokes in the form of questions ("Why did the dead baby cross the road? Because it was stapled to the chicken!!").

In The Bible, Samson wins the riddle contest against the Philistines by asking "Out of the eater, something to eat, / Out of the strong, something sweet;" a riddle only he can know the answer to.

So my question is this: do you have to cheat to win a riddle contest, or is that just the best way? Should it even be considered cheating if you used all of the weapons at your disposal to outwit your opponent?

I'm starting to wonder if this is really true. I stoped wondering the Religion and Spirituality boards some time ago because of all the crazy christians and bitter atheist. I wander back there every once in a while just to see what there is. Today i read a post of someone that was crying hystericaly because they told someone the holy spirit was evil, and later felt bad about it; felt so bad that he/she thought Jesus wouldn't forgive them so he/she was just going to kill themselves. Some time ago, I found a post from someone that hadn't slept for two weeks because she was worried she would be left behind after the rapture. I know it's nice to assume these are just pranks, but that isn't always safe to assume. I thought religion was suppose to smooth people and reassure them, not scare the hell out of them and worry them sick. What happened. I was a christian and no longer am. I was worried for some time till I realised the fears were irrational. What is so wrong?

For example, one girl last year decided that she didn't like me, and starting to do everything in her power to- well, be mean to me! Its not like there was any benifit in being mean, or that it would help her in any way...at least I think. But anyway, I try to be nice to everyone, though I have to say that i've been mean before. But there are people that seem like they're mean 24/7, its like, what they DO. And thats why i wanted to ask this question- Why are there mean people? Can they not help it? Do they enjoy it? Share your thoughts.

I dislike leaving things open...would rather settle amicably to enable me to move on peacefully. This holds true not only in cases of death, divorce, or the end of a serious relationship, but with everyone with whom we come into contact. Comments?

You know those funny photos you get emailed from your friends, usually people doing something odd or strange. Can I compile those in a book? I am assuming that there are some sort of copyright or license infringement. How do you find out where it originated? And how do websites get away publishing these photos?

I am speaking from a completely factual and non-religious point of view here.

Is it a fact that a man named Jesus Christ existed?
If so, it is just a theory theory that his mother was a virgin, correct?

Also, is it an actual fact that he was crucified?

Please, all answers need to be 100% factual without any religious influence.

For my english class, I need to select a poem to present to the class. It needs to have a plethora of various literary elements and preferably several meanings beyond the surface one.

I want to do Robert Frost- Fire and Ice

What other poems would you reccomend that are not as cliched, but nonetheless excellent literary feats

Thank
