Life is an endless repetition of challenges, problems and heartaches, and in there somewhere we find the time to breed. We go though ten years of hell to experience a minute of bliss. We have had teachers, scientists, prophets and psychics explain the "true" meaning of it all, but the kicker is we still don't know, we will NEVER know..so the logical answer is, no matter who you are, how much you try, life is absolutely devoid and pointless, yes I have the courage to say what I think, everything is over advertised and blown out of proportion, in reality it's all meaningless.

Purpose of life? Here is what one atheist philosopher had to say about it:

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell

If there is no God, then there is no purpose for our being on this earth. When someone says, "There is no purpose until you create one for yourself." or "You have to decide yourself what has meaning to you. Teaching, Art, money or religion. ", what they are really telling you is to do something that will make you feel good and keep busy so that you will forget that life is purposeless, meaningless and pointless.

No one can really honestly face a meaningless existence because that would make our lives worthless. Here's what another atheist philosopher said about worth:

"There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide. Deciding whether or not life is worth living is to answer the fundamental question in philosophy. All other questions follow from that." (Albert Camus)

But if we allow that God might exist, then we can immediately see that He must have put our great need for purpose into our human nature to point us to seek Him.

Life is what is purposeful to you. It's your beliefs. For all organisms purpose is to recreate. Does that mean childless people have no purpose? You have to decide yourself what has meaning to you. Teaching, Art, money or religion. Happiness, Joy or pain and worry. You are only given a short time on this almost endless planet and it will be only what you make of it.

life just is. it just keeps going and going. your asking as if there is an question that once answered it all ends. purpose is only what you intend. what is your life purpose? that is the purpose of life.

"there was a space granted unto man in which he might repent...this life became a probationary state; a time to prepare to meet God; a time to prepare for that endless state which is after the resurrection of the dead."
