It's all about who you know-someone who can get you into the business. I know a girl who had been acting since she was 4 years old, and just now (15 years later) she's getting real publicity (Aubrey O' Day from Making the Band).

First you need your parent's support. Then you need a mentor to guide you. Then you need to keep acitng in everything you can find and to take drama classes at school, Then you do community theatre, then you take professional classes then when you have a good resume you try to get an agent. I help people do these things, I mentor for free. Click on my name, ready my profile, and write me at my aol address. Doc
