Yes, I'm sure there have been white slaves some place all the time, including the civil war. For a while here they were called indentured servants, which meant they got no pay and had to stay and do all bidding for seven years or so...
Not the same as blacks, but not the same as slaves either, of which there were some white ones. Some of a few races, I'd guess.

It kind of depends on what you mean by "white slave." This term is sometimes used in reference to prostitution, specifically women and girls who are kidnapped and forced into service. That usage only dates back to the early 20th century or so.

There were people who appeared to be white who had been born to black mothers. Sally Hemmings, for example, was almost certainly half-sister to Thomas Jefferson's wife. Her children would have been only 1/4 African. So by the time of the Civil War, there would be a lot of slaves of mixed European and African descent.

there have been indentured slaves since 1620-25 or thereabouts. indentured slaves were usually poor people or criminals who agreed to serve a time( usually 7 years) of slavery called indentured as payment for their fare and food and clothing from england. at the end of their indenture they were given land and some money which was usually enough to allow them to make a crop on the land they had been given. the short answer to your question is yes.
