I remember reading this in a book about relativity years ago. It could have been the Philippines. Supposedly the man appeared in another part of the country or world. Was anything written about it in the papers back then?

Last year, as a symbol of my own hopes for our world and humanity, I bought a rosebush named, "Hope for Humanity", to symbolize this affirmation (or perhaps desire). Over the winter, it died, and now all that remains is its soil which serves as fertilizer for other potential life.

I question the state of our world and the state of humanity. And so I am asking all of you, "Is there Hope for Humanity"? Please offer your thoughts and ~Why~ you have come to your conclusions.

Every time you come around my cheeks turn cherry red,
I don’t know what to say and I have no clue what you just said,
My stomach fills with butterflies,
As I stare deep into your deep blue eyes,
I start to shiver and my hands they shake,
When I think about you as I lay awake,
You make me feel warm and whole,
If only you understood the heart you just stole.

On page 274 of the American edition of Deathly Hallows, there is a sentence that is confusing me. It says: "Hermione was watching Ron fret over the fate of the Cattermoles, and there was such tenderness in her expression that Harry felt almost as if he had surprised her in the act of kissing him."
This sentence does not make sense to me. Can someone explain? Thanks!

The book is mainly written for children. But I see adults! camping out days prior to the official launch of the latest edition of Harry Potter! And the books are for themselves, not for a child. I just do not get it. I love books and I know I have my favourites, but someone please explain this phenomenon for me? Boy wizards? To a child the subject matter does makes sense but to an adult? Huh?

The books don't neccesarily have to involve magic or fantasy. My favorite things about the Harry Potter books are the amazing characters, the adventures, and the mysteries that are solved with logic. Does anybody know of books simliar to HP that are like that? I need something good to read now that Harry Potter is over! Thanks in advance !

Could I possibly be an actress?

I have no experience but I love to read, love english literature philosophy, am highly empathic, outspoken, opinionated and artistic. I play saxophone and draw.

I'm going to be a freshman in college in a few days. I think that if I can't be a major in theatre, then I could it could at least be my hobby.

I'm building a model of a Romanesque city in a desert climate. I would like to know what kind of stone the Romans used for building in these areas so that I can decide what color to paint the stonework on the buildings. I know they used marble in the European areas, but I'm not sure if this kind of stone would have been so prevalent in the Middle East and in North Africa.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
