You forgot that Snape died too--he was a pretty major character no less than Lupin, Tonks, Fred, and Mad-Eye.
The body count is pretty high--in addition to those five there are Voldemort, Hedwig the owl, Draco's buddy Crabbe, Xenophilius Lovegood (Luna's father) and Charity Burbage, who taught Muggle Studies at Hogwarts.
Anyway, the three main characters marry, have children, and, presumably, live happily ever after.

Well, Harry lives, Voldy dies. Harry has three children, and Lupin and Tonks have one. Harry ends up with Ginny, Ron marries Hermione and has two kids, I think. Lupin, Tonks, Fred, Hedwig, and Snape all die. And Snape turned out to be a good guy after all. It was a good ending. You've got to get the book.

harry goes to voldemort thinking he's gonna die but when voldemort casts the killing curse on harry he doesnt die because harry is voldemort's last remaining horcrux besides the snake nagini which neville kills like a couple minutes after harry "dies". so then harry kills voldemort and all live happily ever after
ron does not die! that person is lying!!! mad-eye moody, lupin, tonks, and fred die. thats it of main people
oh! and snape really has been on the good side all along! he killed dumbledore on dumbledore's request! he was about to die anyway so he told snape to kill him. and voldemort kills snape near the end of the book, and snape gives harry his last thoughts to put into the pensieve and harry sees in those thoughts that snape really was trying to protect him.
