i know, i know, "I'll be one of a billion." But who knows ha? anyways back to my question[s]. I'll be going over w/ $20,000[going to be broke FAST] and I'm taking acting classes this coming fall. So at least i'll be going over w/ a little experience. I want to know where decent places to live are w/ reasonable rent. I want to know everything about what i should do there as soon as i arrive. Like car registration, insurance, drivers license, recommended acting classes, recommended photographers for headshots, getting a job, etc. everything =)

I am writing a book and would like to use certain photos of certain people, how can I find out if a certain photo from way back in the 1900s or 1930s is part of public domain, or if I need permission to use the certain photo. This includes old newspaper photos as well as magazine photos....who do I contact about this??

My prom pictures were developed very poorly. the pictures are very dark and some of them are split. for example, there are two pictures on one photo. Can any of this be fixed, if i still have the negatives?

I just got a guitar today and a book for it. It tells me to play a scale that goes: E E E F F F G G G F F E E, on the first string. It says to rest my thumb on a lower base note to keep my hand steady. It says to alternate the notes using 2nd and 3rd finger. Should I be plucking the string upward or strumming downward?

Most issues when touches on History, R and S, Politic, they are always divided into at least 2 groups or more and everyone would start answering and backing up with sources from google, books, news channel etc. Now, my questions is how reliable are those sources? At times we have a situation that both parties have sources to back their answers : For example, like history..some countries even amend their history to avoid further shame befall into that nation but the people from that nation would argue that theirs is tue history. Or Israel and Palestine feud? Etc and etc...Have anyone doubted this before?

And I am not sure this Q is under which category...

I've run out of good books to read over the summer, and I'm looking for advice on what to read. I loathe contemporary novels, because they serve only as profitable entertainment with very little literary merit. I want to read some good classics, but don't give me a list of the most popular ones that everyone already knows (i.e. Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, etc.) Give me a list of good classics that are perhaps lesser known or simply your favorites. Thanks!
