Dobby...that was one of the saddest parts in the book. He did so much for Harry Potter...he truly died a hero. Snape's death hit me pretty hard once I found out he loved Lily Potter and was willing to lead a double life to protect her son, despite his hatred for James Potter.

For me, it was Fred. Fred and George were my favorite characters after the three main ones, so I bawled my eyes out when Fred died. I mean, he was so funny, and clever and self-assured, and young and had his whole life ahead of him. And I'm sure that losing a twin has to be devastating for George. Now Fred will never grow up and have a family or anything.
Dobby was probably second for me. He did so much for Harry, and he just felt so innocent somehow. He was a unique character, and didn't deserve to die. Losing Remus and Tonks was sad - they left their new baby son an orphan - but they were older and they had been in the Order for a while and expected this kind of thing. Colin Creevey was sad because he was also so young, but he was a much more minor character, and very annoying when he was around, so it was harder to feel sad for him. Somehow it was hard to feel sad about Mad-Eye, even though his death was one of the more senseless ones, because of stupid Mundungus. He was older and had already been through a lot, and that sort of thing was his main job, as an auror.

Lupin and Tonks of course!! They were new parents and Lupin had been moping around for most of the time he was in the book. But the fact that they had just had a baby and would never know him was very sad. Dobby's death was a little heartbreaking as well.

Severus Snape hit me the hardest. I had a feeling he was on the good side and my theories were correct about him all along and I just wish that Harry could have figured it out before he died and maybe he could have had more of a roll to play on the good side.
He was sort of like Sirius Black where the whole Wizarding Community didn't really realize he was on the good side until his death.

Hmmm, well they all did I think Dobby's was quite difficult to stomach since he nearly got out and was risking his life to save Harry Potter.
Then Fred's death was horrible because of the description of the Weasley family after they find out, and the way Percy reacts.
Snape's death was also terrible, but it only hits you really hard after you read about his memories. Then you realize that the reason he told Harry to look at him as he died was so he could see Lily's eyes.
However, the funniest death by far was Bellatrix's. When she tried going after Ginny and Mrs. Weasley screamed "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU B*ITCH!" I nearly died laughing.

everyones made me sad...but the most were:
fred, definately fred. i was so sad i almost cried and i havent cried in years adn years. i always thought how horrible it would be if one of the twins died and the otehr didnt but i never expected it to actually happen! him and george are me favorite characters and theyre always so funny and carefree its like...impossible tehy can die. and the fact that he was just laughing that percy made a joke and then he gets blown up...it was so depressing
lupin and tonks also made me incredibly sad and shocked. i definately wasnt expecting that and i was hoping (stupidly i guess) that it wasnt just dead that were over there and they were just hurt and sleeping. it was like...lupin finally was rly happy and stuff and they just had a kid. i rly liked both their characters too -especially tonks she was so funny!
dobby was also horrible cuz he was so brave and it broke me heart how ron and dean go help harry dig and then ron gives dobby socks and dean gives a hat.

I would say Snape... because, now it proves that i was right all along, and dumbledore did ask him to kill him.. because he only had a short time to live anyways....
As for second.... I would have to say Hedwig and Dobby... the innocent creatures who harry felt very close too... that was the saddest deaths to me...

I have to say Dobby,i feel for him cos what he did really save many people's live and it is at the Malfoy's house!
The others know this battle may or may not kill them,so they are more or less prepared for it.
