John Robert Powers is a scam. They are only there to make money off unsuspecting people. What you need to do is find a real agent. You can find acting classes in your area, you can audition for plays to get experience, but to pay for the alleged "services" that JRP allegedly provides will prove nothing but smoke and mirrors.

You can get exposure by going to auditions and by booking jobs. You can get experience by acting in local plays, and you can take acting classes at a local community college for much cheaper than anything JRP will ask you to shell out.

Any agency that makes you pay for being represented is an out and out scam.

Legitimate talent agencies will never charge you to be a client. They will only charge you when you book a job, they won't charge you to send you on an audition.

So save your time, money and sanity by not paying for whatever it is that agency is trying to sell you.

You've asked about proscout. You've asked about auditioning for major projects and you live thousands of miles from where most of them are done. Now you're asking about the biggest scam artist in the country. You are nowhere near ready to act professionally. Forget it and just be a kid.

NO!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! I went there and they totally ripped me off. They said that if I ever want to leave, they'll give me my money back, and guess what, they didn't. We lost $3000, and they hire people practically from the streets and they're as proffesional as I am an American...I'm from Ukraine...

Sure, if you want to give them $2,000.00 and they give you NOTHING in return.
They are a SCAM, how many times do we have to say that.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Stay away from them.
