A very long line? I didn't because i'm not an idiot. I just waited the next day. Got some breakfast, walked over to barn's and noble's and bought it.

We didn't wait in line but we (my son, husband, and I) went to the party for a couple of hours early on. I didn't wait around because honestly if I got the book at 12:01 I would have wanted to open it right then. But with two small children that just doesn't work out too well! So my DH went and got it Saturday evening once the kiddos were in bed.

Not me! The big day was Saturday, it's now Monday and there are heaps left and at a reduced price, compared to the fancy book stores. The previous issues (6) are all selling for $10.99, bargain if you think that these may be collectors item's in the years to come. I haven't got one of these books, but might just go and buy them for an investment? I prefer to see it on the big screen and come to life......

I did because I've been going to the midnight parties since they started. Harry Potter came out when I was in middle school, so I kinda grew up with the series. I think the parties are kinda fun, and it had become almost a tradition for me and some of my friends to go to them. So, *shrugs* I went.

A lot of people went because of the party. There were contests, free candy, a raffle, etc. If you like the books, I wouldn't call that idiotic.

i waited a little bit, but not because i'm an idiot (i don't think you should call people that just coz they do things differently from you..), but the party was all fun, and a lot of freebies were being given away..
next time think twice before calling people idiots just like that.
