An optimist will say the glass is half full. A pessimist will say the glass is half empty however a realist will say the cost of filling up the glass of water is definitely more than the last time. So are you a optimist, pessimist or realist :)

I need to break into the business, but I know that in order to do that I need a good agent. Anyone know of Chicago talent agents with good reputations?

You can include advice about how to break into the business. I've been acting for six years in school theater. I'm attractive (it helps with getting an acting job.) and need good representation.

I jsut got a set of acrylics as a gift, my mom got them for me becasue she knows I love painting with them. However, i dont' know what brand I used at school, and I don't knwo what the best brand is. These are Liquitex Basics, and I am sure, by their name, that there is better out there, those these are not bad at all. I am jsut wondering who has found a really excellent brand.

Back in my day, a man would play sports. Not put on makeup and recite lines.

No wonder girls like you. You are one of them. It won't last though.

As a young boy in Scotalnd I remember the bitterness of those who had fought in the war(s) when the present Queen was named the First when the UK had never had an E1R. The 1st Elizabeth was English only. On top of that the English play the UK? National Anthem even when they are playing 'locally'. Why not 'Jeruselem'....marvelous. You are displaying unnecessary arrogance...it is only a game!!!!

Brother
I can feel your blood
Flowing in my heart
I can hear your breath
Moving in my lung
I can see your tears
Running down my face
My life without you
Is an empty place

Because your land is my land
Because your blood is my blood
And your soul is my soul
Cause we all are one hand

When you cry
I feel your pain
When you are wounded
I bleed again
When you feel happy
I fly high
When you succeed
I can touch the sky

please tell me your comments ,and if you liked that , can you tell me where to sell my writings ?
thanks alot

The Giver has been one of the most awesome books I've ever read since 5th grade. Have you read The Giver, and if so, what did you like about it?

I'm looking for a poem but I cannot remember either the title or the poet (Whom I remember is a male).
The poem is about a prince who goes into battle, and in the midst of it, a man abandons both his broken sword and the battle. He envies the prince's sword, and exclaims, "But this--blunt thing!--" (This is one of the few lines that I can recall.)

Later, the prince, who is now swordless, wounded, and losing, comes by and sees the broken sword buried, and takes it up and leads his men into victory.
It was a poem I memorized in seventh grade, and I would very much like to read it once more.

I was told, in past questions, that if you have to ask if it exists chances are that it doesn't.

But people have faith in God.
Faith is belief without evidence.
Must you have evidence to believe.
