I am wanting some information about working a s a librarian. Will librarians be replaced by assistants who don't have to be paid as much? I saw some infromation that said that the number of librarians was growing more slowly than the assistants. Is this true?

How many jobs are there for librarians? What does it pay? What is the work like? If you could tell me any more that would be fantastic.

lets say you met a guy like van gogh or some crazy artists who want to end thier lives and they feel justified in doing so because they feel like they have accompolished thier goals in life. like they have left thier legacy and feel like life to them its just routin and vicious cycle of pretension and phoniess.
what can normal people do to change thier mindset to make them believe that life is not about legacy or connecting with other people by sharing or trying to communicate with yourself but other things like getting enjoyment out of material things or doing stupid things over and over?

Whether you are interested in Moksha, Liberation, Freedom, Transformation, you name it, you are interested in happiness without one moment of unhappiness, pleasure without pain, it is the same thing"
We don't want to be free from fear. All that we want to do is to play games with it and talk about freeing ourselves from fear.
The knowledge you have of the world creates the objects you are experiencing. The actual existence or non-existence of something "out there" in the world is not something you can determine or experience for yourself, except through the help of your knowledge. And this knowledge is not yours; it is something which you and your ancestors have accumulated over a long time. What you call the "act of knowing" is nothing other than this accumulated memory. You have personally added to and modified that knowledge, but essentially it doesn't belong to you at all.
There is nothing there inside you but the totality of this knowledge you have accumulated.

born out of human thinking is destructive.
Thought is opposed fundamentally to the functioning of this living organism.
All insights, however extraordinary they may be, are worthless, because it is thought that has created what we call insight, and through that it is maintaining its continuity and status quo.
Thought is not the instrument to help us to live in harmony with the life around us. That is why you create all these ecological problems. But the planet is not in danger; we are in danger.
The certainty that I have that there is no mind is something which cannot be transmitted to anybody, however hard I may try. You are not ready to accept this statement because the very thing which we are using to communicate is in jeopardy.
Thought is something dead and can never touch anything living. It cannot capture life, contain it, and give expression to it. The moment it tries to touch life, it is destroyed by the living quality of life.

i cant explain the creation of the universe or what came before it. but to believe this entity who exist nowhere, but everywhere (i guess) created it all. i hear that the universe in endless. eternal. if this is so, how small, really think about this, are we really. if intelligent design by god is the culprit, would he care about something virtually nonexistant?

I have a question regarding Hitler's rise to power. I understand that in pre-WW2 Germany, much of the money was controlled by the Jewish population. Hitler, I believe hated the Jews in his country and blamed them for the problems. My question is, how did he manage to get an entire country to agree to force Jews to wear special clothing, take away their assets and get a country to hate a particular race to the point that their country could turn their backs on the plight of people being exterminated and sent to concentration camps?

I don't agree with it, but I'm trying to understand how can a governmental leader turn an entire country against a certain group of people? In particular, what did Hitler do to cause this to happen?
