Now that school is out for the summer I would like to find a whole bunch of good books to read for fun instead of for academics. I don't care for romance novels at all, but am pretty open to all other genres. My favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Christopher Moore and Micheal Crition. Any suggestions?

I mean, we only have limited time to live, and then we're gone. Forever. Unless you believe you'll be reborn of course, I'm not putting that down, I just think that it's unfair that we only have one chance. That sucks.

Were Romeo and Juliet real? I found this website, http://www.william-shakespeare.info/shakespeare-play-romeo-and-juliet.htm
It provides information about the history of the play, and states that Romeo and Juliet were real people, or at least based on real people, and they died in 1303. However, I used that information to answer a question here on Yahoo Answers and someone called it crap that I made up. I'm just wondering, is this website correct in saying that Romeo and Juliet were firmly based in reality? I'm just wondering, thanks.

Don't look into,
Homeless eyes.
Because,
You know their lives,
Are one big mess.

Don't look into,
Homeless eyes.
Don't look into,
Madness,
Despair,
And anxiety.

Don't look into,
Homeless eyes.
You'll only see,
The pain,
And agony,
They face,
Everyday.
Stay away,
From,
Homeless eyes.

Pushing their,
Shopping cart lives,
To the sidewalk's edge.
Hear them mumble.
Hear them mutter.
Endless paths of concrete.
Where they step off the ledge,
An' tumble into the gutter.

Don't look into,
Homeless eyes.
Don't see them suffer.
Don't hear their cries.
Don't feel their pain.
Don't touch their lives.
Don't know their existence.
Don't care when one of 'em dies.
Don't share your blessings.

Don't look into,
Homeless eyes.
Because,
You just might see,
A part of you there.
Just might be,
Something you share,
With Homeless eyes.

We were watching History show on Direct TV and storm knocked out reception, leaving us hanging in the last 25 minuetes --- were any of the Dutch paintings found intact on the sunken wreckage of the Frau Maria that went down in the Baltic Sea in 1771. They found the wreckage in 1999 and were trying to recover the cargo in 2002. I cannot find any more info on this. I hope someone can help. These were paintings from the estate of a wealthy Dutchman that were auctioned after his death. Catherine the Great bought many of them, and they were aboard the Frau Maria when it went down.

This may sound strange, but you probley won't understand me completey.
I am 14, im pretty sure other people get's this.

Hmm.. let me attempt to explain this.
Right we'll when my mind would start drifting from what im doing. I'd start too day dream, etc. I may go into a stare, not a stare as in such, some people get where they actully go to sleep or something (with there eyes open) and you have to hit them. I still sense everything around me, I will still conintue the thing I was doing, but my mind seems to be gone, it is NOT an outer body experenice because I feel my mind inside my body, I still feel as one. Just serperated.

Now, what I am thinking. This is almost impossible to explain..
I get a sharp, sense of... total weirdness. Little scary. Everything is focused on every secound, I am only thinking of that secound. I would be thinking for example, where did everything come from etc. But in such a more, sharp, real, no anwser sort of way. Arghh out of space

and don't worry, i'm not fishing for compliments. It's just, i wrote this poem, and i really don't like it. It's one of my worst, i've had much better. But, i figured that since i post all my other work, and since everything someone writes isn't always gonna be great, i'm gonna post this sucky poem. So here it is: (no title)

Tears streaming down my face,
only tear-staining my pale cheeks.
Tears match the pouring rain,
that lives just beyond my window.
Staring through the clear glass,
contemplating if he'll return,
but I strongly doubt it.
That vivid memory does nothing,
but play in my weak mind,
over and over again.

Shiny keys in his hands,
shouts being lashed out at my mom,
beseeching him to stay,
as her uncontrollable tears run.
But he can't take her sobs,
his hand lashes out once more,
knocking her to the floor.
This saddening video,
is the one that haunts me.
It took place on a rainy day,
just like this one.
So maybe, he'll really return.

(also, PLEASE answer my other question that’s, “Does this poem make you think?” or something close to that…just click on my avatar… plz.. thank you!)
