anything lightweight. puma and adidas are the best. oh yeah and something with grip. u dont want to slip during ur footwork

I break a little, but I'm a chick so i'm not that serious.
I will say that u can't wear shoes that have no ankle support and thick grips on the bottom. Sometimes the side of your foot will slam on the ground (for beginners), you want the cushion for that.
U want a shoe with meat on it...not a sock with laces!!!
BBoy Babo has some good suggestions... sorry NO CONVERSE!!! unless u want to sprain your ankle... that's cool and all, but not for breaking.
