I mean like Alice and Wonderland type of stuff? Trying to find a good book like that. :) Would like to hear what's the weirdest stuff you've read, like worst and best.

Also I've never actually read Lewis Carroll's books so a little insight on them would be helpful before I read them in case they're really bad. ;P

I saw this movie on PBS two years ago. It's this couple with a painting of themselves when they were in their 20s. Everyone around them grew older and gray and they remained the age they were in the painting. When something happens to the painting it happens to them. I think they kept the painting in the attic and in the end the painting gets destroyed and they instantly became old. Thanks.

I loved Lace, it's an old novel for Shirley Conran. I also read all Harry Potter's series. Stuff like this is what I like during a nice vacation.

(Unsure of spelling) I was told this is an ancient book of history that postdates Josephus' texts. My father told me, while the Septegen is not a history of the Jewish people as Josephus had written of, the Septegen helps to fill in some of the details that were unclear in Josephus' text. I would like to know if it exists and if so in what form. Is it available for public consumption, is there a copy I can buy or a library that I can read the text at, microfilm to scan, etc. Where can I find it?

Like I mean really good books that rank up there with LOTR/The Hobbit. And not like Eragon, or Narnia or anything like that. Maybe like Harry Potter? No cheesy romance, either. Unless it actually fits in with the story. So, any suggestions? :D Something ORIGINAL that's never been done before.

I have been trying to find a poetry publisher for my book of poems, but most of them keep saying that they are not "accepting unsolicited manuscripts at this time." Do you know of any publishers, or mags that I could submit my poems to, including chapbook publishers?

Note: I do not want to publish my work with poetry.com, Publish America, Authorhouse, or lulu.com.

Thank you.
