I have been trying to find a poetry publisher for my book of poems, but most of them keep saying that they are not "accepting unsolicited manuscripts at this time." Do you know of any publishers, or mags that I could submit my poems to, including chapbook publishers?

Note: I do not want to publish my work with poetry.com, Publish America, Authorhouse, or lulu.com.

Thank you.

Your best bet is to get an agent to deal with the publishing house. Specifically one that has worked wih poets before. They can get through to someone that will be friendly to your work. With no representation it makes it difficult.

Boo, I even do not recognize of any reliable publishers who receive unsolicited manuscripts. yet that doesn't propose you should have an agent. There are various publishers who receive question letters rapidly from authors, and who would then ask to seem the manuscript, making it solicited. sounds like you're basically starting off to do the homework on the commerce end of writing. Get to a bookshop and anticipate your booklet on the cabinets. What books might want to that's competing with? note titles, authors, and publishers. Now bypass living and consider even if those publishers require entrepreneurs. in the journey that they don't, they are going to have submission concepts for writers. in case you opt for an agent, exercising consultation what agent brokered the gives you for the titles you basically talked about. it truly is your A list.
