I loved Lace, it's an old novel for Shirley Conran. I also read all Harry Potter's series. Stuff like this is what I like during a nice vacation.

Try "Deception Point" by Dan Brown. Da Vinci Code got all the hype due to its content and the questions it raised, but this book is much better written. Conspiracies abound and its over 700 pages long, so it should last longer than DVC (though I have gotten through almost 400 in 3 days; that's a lot when you don't have much time to read).

The Husband by Dean Koontz was good. So was Beach Road by James Patterson. Kill the Messenger by Tami Hoag, The Frankenstein series by Koontz, although the third one isn't out yet. His Odd Thomas series is great. There's Odd Thomas, Forever Odd, and Brother Odd. Joe Grippando is a great suspense author. I just read Lying With Strangers.

Alright, you don't have to question twice, read Phantom of the Opera by Gastron LeRoux & all the series of Nancy Drew. They are mystery novels.

I bet you would like John Grisham's books. A lot of them have been made into movies. Try "A time to kill" or if you like humorous books try "Skipping Christmas" I laughed all the way through that one. Christmas with the Kranks was based on that one.
