I want to put together an event for the local animal shelters and organizations in my area. I would love to have a venue where we can have artists, musicians, etc but all the monmey goes to animal needs (blankets, food, shelters) etc. I would like there to be adoptions going on and maybe the entrance fee is a bag of dog or cat food? Blankets or toys? Leashes and medications?

How do I organize this? Is it a good idea?

I need some really "wow!!!" kinda recital themes and songs to go with the ideas.

I also need song and prop ideas for girls ages 4-6 and ones 14-18. An idea for ballet class is Have a classical song and have the girls dance with ribbons on a stick. Its a cute idea but I need more ideas like that for jazz acro lyrical and the kiddies!!

I am looking to get my daughter involved into doing some modeling or print work. We attended a session at John Robert Powers and they like her but to begin you have to pay. Is that right? Do you know of any agency that would be good for me to look into. We live in St. louis.

I have a what I think is an 18th century painting of a medical operation. It's painted on wood and I'm sure it's European but other than that I don't know much else about it (no signature or other readable marks I can find). Can someone recommend a website or forum to help, before I go to the expense of paying for an appraiser? I have a photo. Thanks, Mark

on the same night, which one would you choose to go see? I myself love The Crucible, but how can I pass on Arsenic and Old Lace. It would be a tough descicion for me but I believe, though I love The Crucible, it is not everyday that Arsenic and Old Lace is produced.

I am a big fan of the novels by Nicholas Sparks, and I have read nearly everything he has written. Does anyone know of another author who writes romance novels in a similar style and format?

I'm not too much of a poet, but it is a hobby that I adore.

In this cold place
I remember

In this cold place
I forgave you

In this cold place
I did love you

In this cold place
I await you

Short and sweet, what do you think?
