I think that God is like the tooth fairy...everybody comes up with their own versions, but there's no way to prove if anybody is right or wrong.

I also think that it depends on your beliefs. Take the ancient Egyptians, for example. One of their gods had a bird for a head. The Greek and Roman gods looked like human beings. Christians say that we are all made in the image of God, leading one to believe that God looks similar to what the basic human form is based on.

I want to back the earlier answer that says: Look into the mirror and you will get the answer. Anyway, what is the need to know what He looks like? Just follow what Indian saint Swami Vivekananda (http://www.ramakrishna.org/sv.htm) had said: Where are you searching for God? He is here in front of you in many forms. He who loves any life form is serving God.

God is a Spirit. No one has ever looked upon the face of God and lived. I believe either Elijah or Moses did see the BACK of God because God allowed him to, only because HE knew that they couldn't look upon His face and live. The Bible doesn't really describe God (The Father) in detail. There are descriptions of Jesus (God the Son). Bronze feet, hair like lambs wool......etc. All I can say is....Accept Jesus as your personal Savior and when you die, you'll get a one way ticket to God's Face.

Depends on your belief system. I believe that the Divine looks like whatever touches your heart and helps you connect with them.

There are many different faiths with different Gods and Goddesses. They all have different characteristics, but again it comes to your own personal belief and what helps you get through the roller coaster of life. If it's a vision of an older man watching over you, then that is the right one for you.

If he did have a human form , I think God would either look like a sixer or a baby . Reason being that in both cases you cant really tell the gender and I believe God would not really choose one one sex over the other. But what i really believe is he doesn't have a human form. I think of God more as a source of energy that is all over .

They say we are all created in her (his) image so we should look like her or him and yet no two humans are the same not even twins etc, many parents say they see subtle differences in there identical children. Perhaps he has two eyes one nose one mouth two legs etc like us.We shall know when we see him face to face at the second coming so remain vigilant for we know not the hour or the day.

How does he look? What does he look like? The answers above are surely based on superstition, fairy tales and beliefs coming from the bible (i suppose) or did it manifest in the hearts and minds of these people. It doesn't make sense, but maybe that's just me....

look in your head. and there He is. What you see? God is what we create in our mind. His face is hidden in our minds. don't ask the others to tell you what YOU have inside you.your God is different than mine and at the same time His is the same.
