I am a big fan of the novels by Nicholas Sparks, and I have read nearly everything he has written. Does anyone know of another author who writes romance novels in a similar style and format?

Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson (mostly he writes mystery/suspense - but this is a very touching book)
Robert James Waller - he wrote the Bridges of Madison County and has written many other romances - his writing style is very similar to Nicholas Sparks.

The best novel you've never heard of -- "Reluctant Journey" by Peter West. Romance. Tragedy. Endurance of the Human Spirit. You'll love it.

If you goto amazon.com and type in an author...you can look at related searche and they will be similar authors. It also shows other peoples "favorites" lists that have that author on it. If you look at these other peoples lists, you may see something or someone who appeals to you.

Try Janette Oke's books...they're funny too
My favorite is "Love Comes Softly"
She has a ton of them

I love "The Notebook"/"Walk to Remember", and I also love the books by Sarah Dessen.. "This Lullaby" is my fave! :)
