Montclair is a really good one and I hear it is a really fun program and the people are fun and interesting as well as the professors. Good Luck!

There are some great programs right "next door" in WA state near the Seattle metro area... check out Western Washington U, UWA, and Cornish School of the Arts. Also, if you live closer to MT, check out the university in Missoula. You may be able to score some additional scholarship money attending a school in either MT or WA because many have cooperative arrangements with students from neighboring states. Focus on building your skills and save your money so you can relocate to a major theatrical market like Chi-town, NYC, or Philly with that BFA in hand. Break a Leg!

My school has an excellent BFA musical theatre program, but it's in Kentucky. If you decide you are willing to travel away to school, Northern Kentucky University is a wonderful, inexpensive public college. I am unfamiliar with anything close to you, but just in case you decide you are up for going away, NKU is a great school.

No offense but you get what you pay for. Head West, or East.
