Salvador Dali for his magnificently twisted mind

for me nothing is better than Jackson Pollack He freed painting from being painted on an easel and painted on the floor his work is strictly about the dance of emotion and harmony taking what most people believe to be chaos and making it hum, that is what he did best ..... I respond to his work like no other and have for decades.... got into no few violent arguments defending my right to love his work as far back as the mid 60's don't care much for the him as a person but Ed Harris did an Oscar winning performance of Jackson and should be given a ton of credit for his direction and starring role in that film I owe my painting johns to Jackson that and so much more

Renoir, because I love the way he used paint. I love the realism of his works, and the fine detail which looked so simply done yet so intricate. I feel that he was a true artist.

Frida Khalo. Her work is so awesome. It's like whatever she was trying to convey in the painting you can actually feel it.
Kevin A. Williams- I just think he has really nice pieces.
Salvador Dali- I always love someone that can step outside the box, or in his case disregard the box completely.

one of my favorite is Francis Bacon, simply because of his style of painting and i also saw a video on him and he mentioned that he didn't go to college to study. He said he didn't someone to show him what he already knew and change his ways of thinking. He painted simply the way he wanted and I think it didn't interfer with his creativity. Also greatones-Picasso, Salvador Dali, Vangough

Claude Monet. I went to his house in Giverny in Normandy France and enjoyed my visit. Simply by walking around his goldfish lillypad pond in his yard, I truly understood where he was coming from when he painted his paintings.
