Back then, we knew they used chemical weapons and just basically told them we didn't approve, but still supported Saddam wholeheartedly.

what do you think about Rumsfeld shaking Saddam's hand?

Are certain individuals able to interpret or read the minds of a complete stranger ?

Pure speculation would suggest:

- history of exposure influencing the other, Uni- or Bi- directional influence;
- being in the same instance or having gone through similar experiences;
- subconscious vocalization from one being to another;
- empathy of likeminded people;
- perceptive individuals;
- chance, coincidence.
- any other suggestions ?

Speculatively, long lasting marriages or close relationships may bear some of these traits.

alright, this is my third book and my other titles i came up with on my own, but this one i need help.

the book is about a 17-year-old kid named Greg, who befriends a new student named Joel. Joel is deaf. he has a hearing aid, but when he speaks it sounds a little odd. and ever since his first day at Terrance High, kids have been making fun of him; saying that he is retarded. Joel then threatens a kid, saying he'd kill him if he didnt stop making fun of him, and calling him a retard. Greg then fears Joel, because about three days before he threatened the kid, Joel did show Greg a gun he's had for quite a while, but says it has no bullets and it's an antique. But Greg isn't so sure about Joel, and he keeps thinking Joel is going to do something terrible. Just as Greg feared, Joel brings the gun to school, and starts taking down people who made fun of him.

thats a rough draft of the summary, but i hope it's enough for you to think of a title.

thanks :]

I'm working on a novel, and the title I have isn't working for me. It's about 3 women who have lost three men in their family (grandfather, father and son for the middle-aged woman), and are dealing with their grief, lonliness, finding their strength etc. It interweaves a runaway slave who is their ancestor, which they discover at the end of the story. Any ideas?

I am agnostic, and I don't believe in any of the traditional religions. I came to my own conclusions about life through my own observations.

I don't believe in a traditional god or gods-style religion. I believe that it would be silly to think we can ever know (in our lifetime) how everything was created, what life is, etc.... To me it would be like trying to teach algebra to an insect. Impossible.

Instead, I believe in kind of a "living universe" kind of theory that doesn't really attempt to explain the existance of a god or gods or any higher power really. I only believe that the universe is kind of like a living entity in which each person, animal, and thing would compare to the cells in the human body, each existing and doing a job that may or may not be contributing to the life of the universe.

I don't believe or disbelieve in anything that isn't provable, I only believe that it can't be known if it can't be proved.

So what do I call this besides my "religion"?

Can you describe in depth how it feels when someone you love more than anything else dies. The emotional part. what it phyically
felt like. Everything.
I'm writing a book and I need another person's story about how it felt when someone died. I would like to have an outside approach on it rather my crappy story.
well thanks!!!
