O.K., what war are you talking about? I, first, presumed the Iraqi war, but now see that you have the Cypriot war in mind.
First, I am neutral about the deep sited issues involved. I can easily say that I am not mad about it. My own uninformed opinion is that the public affairs war has been won by Cyprus, even though I understand that the Turkish action was pre-emtive to a Greek move to take the entire island. It is a current issue now, helping block Turkish entry to the EU.
Although, as I said, I've not "mad", it seems that the entire affair began as Greece wanted to seize the entire island either by themselves or by proxy through the Cypriots. This is a case of the tail waging the dog, and I do think that Turkey is not being given a fair hearing. If Cyprus wants to live in the community of nations, it should show fair mindedness. It has not done so, so I say that I side with the Turks on this issue, despite the unfair stereotype that has been build against them and their cause.
Cyprus gains nothing but future headaches by not coming to a fair minded agreement to this issue.

Wow! That is three questions in one!
Am I still mad about the war? If I was mad in the first place, why would I suddenly stop? So yes, I guess I am! War is not the answer! Make love, not war! Give peace a chance! Insert generic anti-war theme here!
I have no idea who is Greek on Yahoo. There are millions of people here, and few of them have revealed their Greekness to me. Same goes for the Turks. Should I start asking?

I get mad about the money spent on war that could be better spent on other things like state schools with 15 children to 1 teacher maximum and then watch the difference that could be made and as to health care and health care for war Vets don't get me started. For more on finance of war and the results of the wars see my answer to what if the Germans had won W.W.2.? all war is only good for the politicians not the people. P.s. I am English and I am using the war in the Middle East as my example for America.

I'm not Greek nor Turkish, but what is the point of being mad at the past, why not focus on the future and learn from the past.

Heck yeah I'm mad! How dare Hannibal march all the way to Rome with elephants? Doesn't he know animals have rights? Good God this still ticks me off. Sewing the fields of Carthage with salt wasn't enough - they should have nuked the whole place!!!
Burns me up every time I think about it!
