I am agnostic, and I don't believe in any of the traditional religions. I came to my own conclusions about life through my own observations.
I don't believe in a traditional god or gods-style religion. I believe that it would be silly to think we can ever know (in our lifetime) how everything was created, what life is, etc.... To me it would be like trying to teach algebra to an insect. Impossible.
Instead, I believe in kind of a "living universe" kind of theory that doesn't really attempt to explain the existance of a god or gods or any higher power really. I only believe that the universe is kind of like a living entity in which each person, animal, and thing would compare to the cells in the human body, each existing and doing a job that may or may not be contributing to the life of the universe.
I don't believe or disbelieve in anything that isn't provable, I only believe that it can't be known if it can't be proved.
So what do I call this besides my "religion"?

I actually beleive the same exact things you do. I have a hard time coming up with what to call it and how to explain it. It isn't really a religion, because you don't nessesarily think it makes all the answers available to you. I think calling it a theory would be closer to what it actually is. I am glad to find out someone perceives the universe so similarly to the way I do. I wonder if there are more universes inside of our own selves. I guess we will never know.

Call it CJPISM until you find something you like better. You are right on in most of what you say. And very wise to always follow your own heart, for that is the real source of all things. You can know all there is to know in an instant if you awake fully to CJPISM(GOD) within unconditional love within your own heart, sounds to me you are much closer than you think. As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight, so to you will find all things are contained within CJP'S own light of unconditional love.Read this and take from it what is useful "The Impersonal Life" by Joseph Brenner(Name unknown until his death) and "Three Magic Words" by U S Andersen. When you think you really know something, let it go,with open mind CJP will show you another facet. PS all learning that ever was is contained within the consciousness of CJPISM.

Your beliefs on knowlage and god can be summed up with the word existentialism, meaning what you just stated. Your beliefs on the universe don't really have a name for them, but they sound like part of Daniel Quinn's "New Tribalist" movement, Scott Adams' "God's Debris" idea, and Issac Asimov's "Gaia" theories stated in "Foundation and Earth". If you wish, you can call it a sycretic philosophy, or state parts of your belief as one belief, like a "Existential New Tribalism". Look at my bio, that's what I did.

One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.
You call it your Faith.
Faith is what we christians rely on to allow us the ability not to be skeptical.
Take the leap of Faith and believe in something. It's better to believe and be alittle happier going through life than not believing in anything and believing you are hopelessly and completely alone.
May God bless you and help you on your Faith journey.

An interesting problem. Coming from academe, I think the word 'philosophy is overused to describe what one thinks about the world.
Perhaps you wish to say 'belief system'? Anthropologists would use the words 'cosmology' or 'world view'.

I tend to agree with spirituality, that's what I call my own belief system which is a mixture of a variety of things but for the most part Christian.

It sounds like you have a philosophy not a religion. A religion involves faith in something that isn't proven and is not critical of itself.

It may be better to call it your "Belief". I have several relatives who are agnostic and it's just the way they believe, end of discussion.

Give Hume's "Natural Philosophy" a read and see if doesn't fit with your thinking.
