Got involved w/ my best friend's brother, who is much younger, had sex with their underaged brother, suffered jail time, probation and monetary difficulties because of it then married yet another, older brother. Is it any wonder my husband's family hates me? My life is ruined... I have no money, can't get a job because of my criminal record, am in a turbulent marriage, lost my best friend and my side of the family has no idea what's going on with me. Top that.

id have to say that the biggest mistake ive ever made was made when i was 11 or 12.....mabe10 i dont remember...but i remember flipping my mother off...D:.....yeah...i got into deep #@$% when i did that......its funny now that you think about it though....man i got everything i owned taken away from me!literally! all i had was my clothes and my bed with a pillow and a blanket! also i was grounded for like three months...and all in the same day i did that i tried to run away....i wimped out though and turned around before i could even get to the stop sign. and it was all because i didnt want to do my school work! LOL!
of course ther also was the mistake of being friends with the person who taught me what the "finger" was and telling me "the word of doom".i used to get into trouble a LOT after i learned about that.....AND I WAS ONLY 10! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT 10! at least i learned my lesson.....the hard way i might add...LOL
i hope noone else does that.....they will regret it.....for the rest of thier lives........i might add.....god im an idiot!

I was living on my own and had lost my job, and since I had a very hard time finding a new one, I got really dirt poor, and had my electricity shut off for a while and such.
Anyhow, I was too ashamed about losing my job to ask my parents for help, or admit I that I had no money.
However, since I was litterally starving, temptation got the better of me, and I stole money from my mothers purse everytime I went to visit her. A twenty here, and twenty there. Eventually she caught on and banned me from even being in her house for a quite a while.
I thought she would never trust me again, and I felt so low.
I eventually proved to her that I coud be trusted, and would never do that again, and she and I are now very close.
I would never, ever dream of stealing money from anyone again after that terrible time. I felt so ashamed of myself I could hardly look at myself in the mirror.
That will always be my biggest mistake in life.

Had a beautiful home on 4 acres. Built from the wood on our own property. Lived there 5 years, sold it. Huge mistake and regret it to this day. (Now we live in a mobile home park). We miss that house and all the privacy. Biggest mistake we ever made.

Double edged sword of a question, because I married someone that almost destroyed me and saying yes to him was my biggest mistake ever..... but the children I had with him are in no way a mistake, I would marry him again just because of them...my biggest blessings ever.

The biggest mistake I made was listening to wee intentioned advice as to what I should do in my life instead of my own heart.

I suppose it was when, why and how I ended a long-term relationship. Actually I ended up emotionally hurting a few people, especially myself. I just didn't know how to deal with things then

However, that was years ago and I think it worked out for the best in the long run. Many, many lessons were learned!

I called a girl a racist on Yahoo Answer because I misread her question. Oops. (Sorry, Decoy 2.0!) I apologized, but the harm was already done. Oh well, my intentions were good. Hopefully she'll use my mistake as motivation and discover a cure for cancer or become the first woman President of the United States... if Hillary does not beat her to it.
