My ballet teacher told me I can get pointe shoes!! Yay! Despite how excited I am, I was wondering if there are any major health risks involved in dancing en pointe. I know that injury is something that cannot always be avoided, but I don't want to be crippled when I get old either. I was also wondering what I could do to make it not so risky.

Anyone? Any ideas are appreciated, no matter how vague or specific they are. I have ideas of my own, I just want to explore more so I can get the best idea I can of what I want to write a novel about. I just want to see if other's ideas might spark something in my own mind that will really get me going. Thanks so much for any help,

Kiara

Okay, I'm writing an essay on the legalization of casino gambling, and whether the government should support and generate revenue from it. I'm trying to say that the endorsement of casino gambling goes against everything the government stands for - against its very _________________. And that's where I have a brain cramp... it's not 'mantra', it's not 'mission statement'...but it's LIKE that.... HELP!! My vocabulary is failing me....

I'm fairly adept in ways regarding certain martial art type kinds of movement. Since nothing in the way of legitimate martial arts schools is available where I am presently living, I have considered the possibility of enrolling in ballet classes for the purpose of improving my karate guy skills. I'm a little concerned about being the only male in a class of younger females who will probably think I'm gay.

The painting is a holiday, probably Christmas, winter/snow on the ground scene of St Paul's Church. The date on the back of the picture is 1967. The Rev. Ralph Edwin Merrill, who served as rector 1960-74, was at St. Paul's when the picture was painted. The white church is a typical New England church of the early 1700s.

Nearing the end of a performance of Cyrano, his nose fell off and I deftly kicked it stage left, into the wings. He rushed off to have it glued back and returned a little while later with flowers as if that's why he left. Meanwhile I hummed a pretty ditty while trimmimg the artificial roses. Critics were in that night but we had convinced them and the entire house that it was all part of the piece.

If I were to quote from the book I'd say "I didn't like the book. It fascinated me".
I'd appreciate longer answers than "I like it". Thank you.

My friends and I have an ongoing argument/running joke on whether or not constipation could be considered an emotion. If you could provide sources to back up your answer, that would most likely earn you your points. We need to know for sure for an improvisation game we play.

Give me a pile of coke, ill sniff it. Give me a needle full of steroids, ill inject it. Not because I think these things are morally correct, but simply becuase I am a curious and adventerous guy. Any tips on how to resist temptation? PS, I have an above average sized penis, and my therapist said that this may have something to do with it........? I don't understand the coorelation.

I am an actress living in Los Angeles and commuting to London on a regular basis. I just saw a production of King Lear here in LA directed by Patsy, and I want to take a voice seminar with her- doesn't really matter where, although I would prefer LA, London or New York City. Any information on where she teaches and how I can get a hold of her in the next couple of months would be super helpful!

There was an author who wrote "A love poem to my ex-wife". He was using an older idea when he left the page completely blank except for the title.

Who was the author who came up with this idea, or what other authors used this idea? The author I'm looking for is from the 18th or 19th century.
