How did it end?
Was it a satisfying conclusion?
Did it turn out the way you anticipated? If so, in what ways was it what you expected?
In what ways did it end differently?
Did characters change, grow, develop by the end? If so, in what ways did they? If not is that a weakness in the way the story was written?

Thankyou! :]

Sometimes I wonder what my life would have been likeif I hadn't met the Artist. Of course, I already know the answer to that question, so I don't know why I even bother thinking about it. My life would have been colorless. I mean it, too. My life would have been literally colorless.
Several milleniums ago, the world was full of colors, every color of the spectrum. But the Drainer made everyone colorblind. He drained the color from their eyes, so that everything they saw was monochrome. The Artist was devastated that no one could see the beautiful colors he had created, so he had to create a new way for everyone to see them.
Those that seek him out and get to know him personally were granted the gift of technicolor vision. No one knows how the Artist is able to give people technicolor vision, but those that can see in color, people like me, have made it their mission to bring the color back to everyone. It's hard work. Everyone has forgotten the time of color, so no one believes it exists anymore.
Then there's the Drainer. He always has his followers, known only as the Regime, out hunting us down. They want to destroy us, and keep the world monochromatic, so all the Techies have to be very careful when speaking of color. The Drainer will stop at nothing to keep us from telling anyone about the Artist and his gift.
My best friend Gem was the one who told me about the Artist and color. I didn't believe her at first. She told me there were colors outside black, white, and shades of gray. I thought she was crazy. The color has been gone from the world for so long that no one even really knows about it now. Besides, there was no way for me to even begin to fathom a color spectrum. She told me that my hair was a shade of a color called yellow, and that my eyes were blue. I didn't know what to say to that, so I decided to at least go to meet the Artist with her.
The journey was long and hard, but we finally reached his abode at the top of Mt. Calvary. There was nothing that really stood out about the Artist, save his kindness. I stayed there with Gem for several days, getting to know him. After a week, I wanted the gift he was offering, and asked him if I could see the colors he had told me about.
It was then that I first saw the spectrum. I was speechless by how beautiful the world really was.

We were taught as kids to accept our mistakes and ask sorry for the same from whoever concerned. Then we grew up and all of a sudden EGO came into play. People take it personally if someone points out something wrong; forget about apologizing for the same.

Why? Is it really that difficult? Won't you become a better person if you apologized for your mistakes?

Any views on this?

We are having a halloweem party, and have made a haunted maze in the front 2 rooms of the house.. We had an idea to create a corpse to put in a coffin that i've already made. But we need some ideas on how to make the body... Keep in mind that there is a budget here, so think as cheaply as possible.

Somehow it got into my room.
I found it, and it was, naturally, trapped.
It was nothing more than a frightened animal.
Since than I raised it up.
I kept it for myself, kept it in my room,
kept it for its own good.
I named the animal, My Life.
I found food for it and fed it with my bare hands.
I let it into my bed, let it breathe in my sleep.
And the animal, in my love, my constant care,
grew up to be strong, and capable of many clever tricks.
One day, quite recently,
I was running my hand over the animal's side
and I came to understand
that it could very easily kill me.
I realized, further, that it would kill me.
This is why it exists, why I raised it.
Since then I have not known what to do.
I stopped feeding it,
only to find that its growth
has nothing to do with food.
I stopped cleaning it
and found that it cleans itself.
I stopped singing it to sleep
and found that it falls asleep faster without my song.
I don't know what to do.
I no longer make My Life do tricks.
I leave the animal alone
and, for now, it leaves me alone, too.
I have nothing to say, nothing to do.
Between My Life and me,
a silence is coming.
Together, we will not get through this.

What is the long version to this well-known Mother Goose rhyme? It is more than just snakes and snails and puppy dog tails. There is more to the poem. I'm using it for a project but can't find it on the net. Thanks for your help.

I was listening to a debate he took part in from Oxford (this was part of a podcast). He argues that no animal should be suffering and made to be food, that those who are terminally ill should have the right to humanely end their lives, and......that infants who are extremely ill or children who are developmentally disabled and extremely ill, should also be allowed to die as they wouldn't be able to have a practical life.

Now I disagree with that, on the grounds that how can one refuse to kill a chicken but kill a baby (albeit a sickly one) when it has no say in the matter?

Animals in Western societies have it better. There is the ASPCA which protects cruelty to animals, ESPECIALLY those bred for food. There are standards.

My other point: animals are not on the same level as humans are. They do not drive cars, they don't hold jobs, they are not an important part of our government. Sure, God entrusted us to take care of them, however, God considers us to be the "top of
