i see others pictures and they are very clear and crisp or have a certain finish to them that makes them look magazine ready, but even though i take my pictures in an slr manual camera it doesnt look any different then when i take pictures with a cheapo automatic focus camera. why is this, do i need better film then basic kodak 400 color? do i need to use filters, adobe? and how can i do the same with my no frill digital camera?? just give me hints pointers etc...i want to get out of the rut im in.

Is the profit motive in 'treating disease' ignoring some basic truths about 'parasitic' causes?

Do you recall the history of 'ulcers', well they were falsely believed to be caused by 'stress' until they found a bacteria that casued them.

Well one person I know very, very well spent some 16 years suffering from 'intestinal problems' labelled IBS, or Crohns only to find literature that suggested that this 'illness' or symptoms were caused by a 'parasite' of sorts; giardia is the most common.

Logic would suggest that even common bacteria like giardia require 4-5 tests to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that you don't have this common bacteria.

If you do, and the tests can't find it, then you will suffer symptoms from anemia, depression, and a whole host of other symptoms.

The question is a simple one, is today's medicine so concerned about the profit motive in treating symptoms rather than a simple cause of many illnesses like Cancer , depression, Schizophrenia; parasites?

Ive spent longtime in bed till I recovered.I tried 2maintain my weight,but as a matter of fact z lack of activity has changed my fat distribution.From hips&down am wider thn my waist&up,also my body is no more tonned.Frankly Ive never been into gym,I always maintained my body tone through everyday activities eg using stairs instead of z elevator.Ive joined work&I work long hrs&Idon’t feel like goin 2gym nor exercisin after work,its just borin &no fun(& ya am lazy!).So I thought of ballroom dance classes,as dancin tones z body&its fun.but Idon’t hve any background in this regards.So PLZ advice me which ballroom dance has z most muscle tonin effect frm hips&down,which involves z least partner contact(a wired request,I know!)&a dance easy 2learn(so I won't standout like an idiot,though I knw tht I'll b joinin a beginner class).Ps I keep a healthy deit,till now I get short of breath on any regular activity eg walking fast for 20mins,lookin 4 a dance tht I tolerate practicin 4 z time being.

I was wondering what is the largest collection of intertextual or related fictional texts e.g. same universe same characters recurring. I'm not counting fan fiction here just TV shows and official books films etc that have been produced and sold. I've thought of three contenders for the largest number of interrelated texts, Star Trek, Doctor Who and the Marvel comics universe (counting all those comics that share characters between them as one big related universe. ) Are any of these the biggest set of fictional texts or is there some other fictional entity that might beat even these fictional giants?Anyone got any stats. Someone must know this.
