Can anyone give me a brief analysis of Circe and Hermes in the Odyssey?! It would be very appreciated!!

wen the crew arrices on circe's island a few get off an they are lured into the witch goddess's house where she feeds them and then turns them into pigs the only one of the crew that duznt go into the house that got off the ship is euroclyus or sumthing an he goes bak to odysseus who promtply sets out to save him men and hermes comes down from the heavens to give him molu wich could have been a type of garlic that helps his crew become human but then circe casts a spell over all of the crew including odysseus and we stays with her for many monthes and then wen he finally decidess he wants to go home she sends him to the land of the dead (read the LAND OF THE DEAD book)
