Well, I wish it were because you have to learn to spell "allowed" before you can write questions for Yahoo! Answers.

Or that you would have to learn to whisper before you speak aloud.

But, no.

Q: Why can you ask only five questions a day?

A: That's the rules of the game. It's as simple as that.

You don't get to play in the world series until you win the playoffs. And you don't get to the playoffs unless you compile a good enough season's record. And you don't have a winning record, unless you win most of your games. And . . . well, we could go all the way back to Little League.

You wanta play the game, you gotta go by the rules.

Five questions a day in the Little League. Work at it a bit, and very soon you get to ask far more questions than you have time for.

But you also gotta answer some questions, too. Like this one.

Now go for it!!

Danny: mank above is telling you like it is. I won't be critical of your spelling or sarcastic as some people here. I get that you are a member of the younger generation and what I'd like to tell you is this: You've probably been questioning all your life. That's a good thing because that's how we all learn. Yahoo! Answers may currently limit you to 5 questions a day. That doesn't mean you can't ask a whole lot more questions elsewhere. You should, and I'm confident you will. Go for it, my man.

Later, after reviewing the questions you've asked:

Of course it might be good to try asking some questions that don't relate to hair or barrettes.

And after reading some of your answers:

OK, I said I wouldn't be critical about your spelling. But I have to ask you this: In most of your answers you spell just fine. So what happened here? Please tell me this wasn't some game of entrapment.

Because you cannot orthographically distinguish between an adverb meaning voicing audibly and a verb meaning to be permitted.

Five is quite sufficient to the day.

you need to answer some questions also..move up in levels and you will be able to ask more. once you get to level 5 you can ask as many as you want.

Probably to stop people from asking hundreds of useless questions just so they can earn points and level up.

They want you to concentrate on your spelling before asking too many questions! (Allowed instead of aloud)

Prevents spam, I would assume.

You could just look up the answers to your questions online anyway, it would save time..

I bet the answer to this one is in a FAQ or something anyway.

Because you are a beginner and if you asked more than five a day all of us who answer them would get sick and tired of hearing from you.

The good thing is, right from the start you're ALLOWED to use spell check.
The rest takes time...
