Hi people!

I was browsing the net, being a writing lover that I am, and I stumbled upon this new project that can be found at this site:

http://www.theinternettime.org

I found it to be amazing!! The idea is great and I'm even inclined to give them some help...

My question is though... have you guys seen they have some codes on the first pages of the book. For example:

"They both start smelling if you don't sell them quick. Indeed, in order to sell the stinking goods, we use the stinkiest online market in the world (which is 13 59 5 6 )"

I haven't got a CLUE of what they mean, I think it's some sort of a code, but... can anyone give me a hand with it? I mean... what the heck is it, what are we supposed to do to find out?

Either way, you guys should check the project, it's very interesting!

Cheers,

Lara.

The Kinsey Milhone ones - A is for Alibi, B is for Burglar...etc. I'm not really expecting a lot of answers here, but I love these books and would love to see if there are any fellow fans.

Someone said, the trouble with stereotypes is what's wrong about them, and what's right about them. What's your experience?
For example, people believe Jews are tight with money - rubbish. All the Jews I've known are very generous. Alert to business opportunities? Yes.
Sexy French? Yes, but it's often a bit of a pose.
Efficient Germans? No, not really. Some of them.
Humourless Germans? No, but the sense of humour isn't very developed - like dull 13-year-olds.

When "The Da Vinci Code" hit the big-time, there was a lot of talk about what makes a bestseller, with some people giving very specific ingredients, e.g. a religious mystery, a chase, teaching of fact, etc. With this in mind, what do you think are the top five ingredients of a bestseller novel (other than the name of a bestselling author on the cover)?

Thanks!
