There have been lots of great people. There was Jesus, Ghandi, MLK, Lincoln, Socrates, etc. They all said stuff about how if everyone was good and polite and nice that everyone would be better off. So, why doesn't everyone just be nicer?

I have tried looking on the internet on people search, but I had no luck.Is there an accurate website that I can go to without wasting a lot of time? The websites that I have gone to, waste time and don't even have accurate and up-to-date results.

Can't find my copy of Naked Lunch--nothing in my local bookstore, and no books of his online. I'm looking for a quote from Naked Lunch that is a sample of the main character's writing (I know "main character" really doesn't fit but, oh well..) where he describes New Orleans. Ring a bell?

If you choose friends and family, history will record you as nothing, but you will die happily surrounded by everyone who loves you.... But if you choose world domination, history will record you as the one- while others have failed- who have conquered the world, but you will die alone and lonely....

Dilemma? It is!

After coming into contact with a religious man I always feel I must wash my hands.

Two great European narcotics, alcohol and Christianity.

All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That's his.

America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between.

I think that God, in creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability.

Happiness: an agreeable sensation arising from contemplating the misery of another.

Religion. A daughter of Hope and Fear, explaining to Ignorance the nature of the Unknowable.

Silence is the mother of truth.

Friendship increases in visiting friends, but in visiting them seldom.

Silence is the virtue of fools.

A man is never more truthful than when he acknowledges himself a liar.

A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read.

All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, and then success is sure.

A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.

I have a limited budget and want something small and light. I might even want to "hide" the camera in a bag or purse. There will be outdoor footage, and I want everything to look great when I'm done.

I'm still young, but I wrote this book that's long enough to be considered as a young adult book. It started out as a writing assignment, but I edited it and expanded it into a full-length detailed story. Like I said, I'm still young, so can you please give me it detail by detail? Any prices? What they look for? etc.

I'm hoping to find a way to talk to other clairaudients who are gifted like myself. As far as what I am hearing, I have a relationship with a spiritual guide named Gar. We teach Ascended Mastery to 381 students worldwide who are presidents of renowned universities, religious leaders, doctors, lawyers, geneticists, celebrities, and normal people in everyday walks of life who want to learn about religion, philosophy, natal astrology, prophecy, medicine, foods as healing, parenting, nurturing and spirutality. We also write letters to solve world problems and copies of those letters are shared on the newsgroup to the students to show how it is possible to make changes in the world. Our non-profit foundation is for the prevention and cure for autism, cerebral palsy and cancer and we write dietary protocols for each other those afflictions, handing them out to those in need in autism seminars, soon over the Internet to parents of cerebral palsied children, and in radiology clinics.

There is a sculpture of Atlas holding a round world on his back from ancient Rome. The romans even had the circumfrence close to what it is. But later in the renisance people thought the world was square. But awhile back we figured out that the world was round again. So my question is, when did we lose that information?

Does God really exist ? If we feel secure, do we need God? Because people feel insecure and need someone higher, then they create god. If there is God, then who create God ?
Does soul really exist ? Isn't it because human being has need for everlasting life so they create illusion that they have soul that is everlasting ? If there is no satan, will there be God ? Because the story began with that dualism. So the existance of God depend on satan ? Or maybe God and Satan is created from our "super ego" which is in batttle against our "id" ? So against it's a culture product.

In one of Thomas Aquinas' works he delivers the "Five Proofs of God". In his first three "proofs" he claims that can not go into infinity. The first being motion - that every motion is done by a mover; the second, efficient causes - a cause and effect; and third, necessary things.
Why did Aquinas think these things could NOT "go on to infinity"??
