I guess it would depend what nationality you are. But most Germans living in Germany speak German.

It was an eye opener for me to realize that people in european contries are not just bilingual but speak many languages, if you look at the atlas you may understand why, so I would say they speak, german, english, espanol, french maybe more. They could also have dialecs that differ from our english or french for example.
