If I were to quote from the book I'd say "I didn't like the book. It fascinated me".
I'd appreciate longer answers than "I like it". Thank you.

I have to say that I thought it was fantastic. I really like characters and the sarcasm that Wilde Used when writing the book. He was taking the piss out of English high society the whole way through the novel. The book is one big piss take.

It is a great insight into the nature of vanity and the human concept of soul. It explores morality and at the same time sticks two fingers up at moral values. Loved the book.

It's a great book, examining what man would be like if he had no responsibility for his actions. It reflects the base greed and self-interest that man has at his root, and why we need laws, government and civilisation.
Further more, I have just such a painting in my basement.

I think it is wonderful. It talks about the man's priority of beauty over intelligence and the prevalence of greed and debauchery over common folk. In a way, it's like Genesis, the temptation of eve.

i was totally disappointed in it, with all the hype that story always gets. i think that the IDEA of the story is more fascinating than the story itself; frankly, i think that other people's interpretations of it, in movies and such, have probably been better than the original. i decided, after reading it, that Oscar Wilde is more funny and interesting in snippets than in a whole book.
