I am an actress living in Los Angeles and commuting to London on a regular basis. I just saw a production of King Lear here in LA directed by Patsy, and I want to take a voice seminar with her- doesn't really matter where, although I would prefer LA, London or New York City. Any information on where she teaches and how I can get a hold of her in the next couple of months would be super helpful!

It looks like London is your best bet.

Patsy is teaching her entry-level seminar in Los Angeles on November 4. You'll have to scrounge up the contact information yourself, but I'm sure that's the date.

As for her "Lear"...I saw it, too. I understand that she has a stellar reputation as a vocal coach, and obviously knows how to get actors to speak Shakespearean text with great clarity. However, after seeing that show, I can guarantee you that I will never again pay for a ticket to see one of her productions. She's no director, and the "show" was really nothing more than an opportunity for the students who had "graduated" her training regimen to do a (barely) staged reading of the play.

She is voice tutor at Guildhall. Access their website through the Conference of Drama Schools;
