In the book ,which was so much better than the movie, Jack Torrance becomes facinated with the overlooks history and notices an eerie pattern of ownership that involves the mega-rich personality of Horace "Harry" Derwent. I never figured out if this charachter had some evil interest in the hotel or what. Even as the hotel prooved to be a moneypit he kept it on his radar for decades. Does anyone have any insight that I may have missed from the book?

lol i just looked up some tool concert tickets and some of the tickets run 1200 dollars per stub!! ROFL!! do you think its reasonable that a band ask you to pay the equivalent cost of a used car to see them play music for a few hours? lol im amazed, i knew they'd gotten more expensive lately, but jeez....maybe its to make up for pirating lol, only reason i can think of, crazyness...
